Alfa Romeo’s commitment to the environment is undeniable. And this is manifested, for example, in actions such as the Alfa Romeo Forest, planted with the support of the (R)Forest Project. Located in the Madrid town of Alalpardo , which represents a natural defense against deforestation and the ravages of climate change. As a further step in this strategy, Alfa Romeo participates in the Beeforest Project, which seeks to promote the pollination of the forest and surrounding fields thanks to a series of recycled Pallets by Don Pallet. These devices provide an ideal surface to be colonized by species of wild bees , which have a key role in the fertilization of all kinds of plants. In Spain around 70% of crops for human consumption depend on insects that carry out pollination.

Its new standard active suspension, which adapts to conditions and driving style, contributes to exceptional ride comfort without penalizing sporty handling and driving pleasure. The ‘Alfa Active Suspension’ control system manages suspensions and shock absorbers in constant interaction with the CDC (Chassis Domain Control) and the DNA, calibrating its intervention according to the selected mode.
The mechanical limited slip differential is also part of the standard equipment. It guarantees stability and high control in all grip conditions, and distributes torque and traction also when exiting corners, at high speeds and during acceleration.
Specifically, this area is classified as a Special Conservation Area (ZEC) and a Special Protection Area for Birds (ZEPA) for being an area where protected species such as the imperial eagle and the black vulture breed . All the trees belong to autochthonous varieties such as the holm oak, the hawthorn or the blackthorn, especially indicated for planting at the beginning of April. The presence of the Arroyo del Casar next to the forest will be beneficial for its development. (R)Forest Project has used the Miyawaki technique, in which species are randomly mixed in order to mimic as much as possible what happens in natural forests. It has been decided to plant 3-sap trees (60-80 cm high) with a high density, to ensure rapid and vertical growth. In the coming months, the Alfa Romeo Forest will be expanded with an additional 500 trees.
