Arrested after a corpse was found at the Berlin TV tower

Berlin – After a body was found under the television tower on Alexanderplatz in Berlin, a man was arrested on Friday evening. There is an urgent suspicion, said a police spokesman. Further details are not yet available. The “Bild” had previously reported an arrest.

City cleaning staff discovered the body that morning. According to the police, the dead man was found in the area between stairs and water features. His injuries indicated a homicide. Therefore, the body should be autopsied.
