Attila Hildmann finally canceled – companies are removing products from their range

Attila Hildmann is on the run. In Turkey he is hiding from German criminal investigation authorities. His travel budget could be tight.

Berlin / Ankara – Attila Hildmann is angry. The right-wing extremist, currently on the run in Turkey, expresses his displeasure on Telegram. In capital letters he railed of being “kicked out for the fact that 99% of my crude conspiracy theories came true!” This is followed by a wild collection of catchphrases popular in the scene such as “dictatorship”, “vaccine deaths”, “Corona concentration camps”, “total surveillance”.

Reason for Hildmann’s furor this time: Amazon and Lieferando. The two mail order companies have joined a long line of companies that no longer want to sell the products of the alleged seducer. The last wholesalers are also taking Hildmanns products out of their range, such as cookbooks for vegan organic food, organic tea and dishes from its “Vegan Bio Snackbar”. A financially hard blow to the fugitive.

Amazon has changed its mind – no more products from Attila Hildmann in the range

The step is quite unexpected. For a long time Amazon had refused to react to Hildmann’s legally and morally relevant statements and pointed out that his cookbooks did not convey any “content that was harmful to minors”. Obviously a rethink has taken place. Amazon, which for a while even sold Attila Hildmann’s products directly via its own “Prime” offer, has discontinued the agitator’s products.

Lieferando is also serious. As company boss Katharina Hauke indicated to the “Spiegel” at the end of 2020, Hildmann’s app no longer knows the “Vegan Bio Snackbar”. This means that the last major sources of income for the right-wing extremist who fled to Turkey are no longer available; he only has to sell himself in Germany. And this turns out to be difficult if the boss has just gone into hiding to flee from ongoing proceedings.

Before Amazon and Lieferando, Kaufland and Tegut Attila Hildmann, among others, threw out

With their move, Amazon and Lieferando are joining other prominent names who have already traded earlier and who, for example, wrote “The Jew is a mass murderer who wants to murder 7 billion people with his rat poison”, banned from their offers. Vitalia and Kaufland started in May 2020 by removing Hildmann goods from their shelves. A month later, the fruit juice producer Voelkel joined and ended the production of Hildmann’s canned shower head.

Next it was Tegut’s turn and, with the removal of Attila Hildmann products from their own range, spoke of a disqualification that Hildmann had inflicted on himself “with the sum of his utterances and actions over the last few weeks”. And even before Amazon, the German bookstore chain Thalia set an example by dissociating itself “with all its might” from Hildmann and his “right-wing extremist and anti-Semitic worldview”.

Nevertheless, Hildmann’s e-books are still on offer there today. Thalia writes as the reason for this: “As a bookseller, we basically neither want to censor nor anticipate discussions by removing titles that do not give rise to content-related complaints from our range.” In the description of the author Attila Hildmann about the range of his e-book “Vegan for Starters” is the motto: “His relaxed manner, his attitude to healthy eating and climate-friendly cooking combined with sport is in tune with the times.” And: “Attila Hildmann is rightly called the star of vegan cuisine.”

Attila Hildmann: The fugitive wants revenge

Hildmann manages to reconcile self-pity and defiance in his reaction to the new sources of income that have collapsed. He writes: “They took everything from me and wanted to lock me up! You will get your punishment for it! I live and fight for my ideals and my revenge. “(Mirko Schmid)
