Audi continues to stick to its electrification strategy . And it proves it by presenting the second 100% electric model in its range. The Audi e-tron Sportback perfectly combines the power of a spacious SUV with the elegance of a four-door coupe and the progressive character of an electric vehicle. In fact, the model offers up to 300 kW of power and a range of up to 446 kilometers (according to the WLTP cycle) on a single battery charge. In addition, digital Matrix LED lighting is available for the first time in a series-production vehicle. The light is divided into small pixels that allow exceptionally precise control.
The e-tron Sportback measures 4,901 millimeters long, 1,935 millimeters wide and 1,616 millimeters high. Its roof extends almost flat on the bodywork and descends sharply at the rear until it is integrated into visibly inclined D-pillars. The lower edge of the third side window is raised at its end, a typical feature of Sportback models.
In addition, certain details indicate that it is a purely electric model . An example of this is the grille, with vertical bars, which is painted in light platinum gray, a very specific identifying feature of the e-tron models. Also the Matrix LED headlights speak of the electrification of this model, with its four horizontal segments creating a specific signature on the daytime running lights.
Other striking elements of the e-tron Sportback are the black inserts on the side skirts , which suggest where the battery is housed, the powerhouse of the model. The design team also wanted to focus on the absence of tailpipes in the rear diffuser. And behind, a line of light connects the light clusters to each other. A total of thirteen paint finishes are available for the all-electric SUV coupe, including the new Plasma Blue metallic color, which is exclusive to the e-tron Sportback.
