Audi has just presented the sportiest version of its SUV coupe, which comes to our market with a more aggressive image than ever before. The new Audi RS Q8 combines the power of an RS model with the elegance of a premium coupe and the versatility of an SUV. This new variant will arrive in dealerships during the first four months of next year 2020, with a recommended price for the Spanish market from 155,700 euros.
The exterior of the model will attract all eyes, thanks in large part to the personality of the front. In combination with the side air intakes and the side bumper inserts in gloss black and other aerodynamic elements in matt aluminum, this SUV coupe from Audi Sport GmbH exudes sporty character on all four sides.
The interior of the new Audi RS Q8 , meanwhile, presents a clean and uncluttered design. All elements have a logical and well harmonized connection. A good example of this is the slim console and the marked horizontality of the dashboard, which give the interior a great feeling of space. Another highlight is the wide and symmetrical center console, which is framed by elements in Anthracite Race aluminum, which underline the character and sporty personality of the large SUV coupé.
In addition, on the Audi Virtual Cockpit and MMI displays there is a special RS display mode that refers to tire pressure, torque, power, temperature, lap times and G-forces. A light indicates it is time for the driver to shift up a gear when it has reached the maximum revs. The optional head-up display also offers various RS-specific graphics.
Oliver Hoffmann , Director of Audi Sport GmbH, notes that “for the first time in the 25-year history of the Audi RS models, we have combined the genetics of a true high-performance sports car with a large SUV coupe body. “With its V8 biturbo petrol engine, the Audi RS Q8 becomes the prestigious spearhead of the RS range,” he concludes.
