AutoAvenger, Jeep's first all-electric SUV

Avenger, Jeep's first all-electric SUV

In Europe, the Jeep brand has already made a big change by offering only electrified SUVs in countries like Germany and France. By the end of this year, 100% of the Jeep SUV portfolio will be electrified in almost all European markets. The revealed plan builds on this 4xe drive, developing a portfolio of capable, all-electric vehicles designed and sized for Europe. The brand will introduce four zero emission vehicles in Europe by 2025, with offerings in the main volume segments. As a result of this avalanche of products, all Jeep vehicles for sale in the region will be 100% electric by 2030.

Thus, the Jeep brand showed the first images of two fully electric SUVs, the new Jeep Recon and a completely new Wagoneer, with the code name Wagoneer S, which will arrive in North America and other regions of the world, while confirming that the new all-electric Jeep Avenger will launch in Europe early next year .

Specifically, this first model in this product offensive, the all-electric new Jeep Avenger, is a compact SUV that was unveiled during Stellantis Dare Forward’s long-term strategic plan earlier this year. The Avenger, which will be introduced in Europe and other markets, such as Japan and South Korea, will be positioned below the Jeep Renegade and will be produced at the high-efficiency Tychy plant in Poland. With an electric-specific range of 400 kilometres, this new SUV will deliver impressive segment-leading ground clearance, breakover and entry angles, while offering a modern and technologically advanced interior with plenty of room for people and cargo. .

“The new Avenger will offer the capability of the Jeep brand with the right size for the European market,” said Antonella Bruno , head of Jeep Europe at Stellantis. “This modern, fun and emotional SUV will appeal to a growing group of customers looking for a capable, compact, modern and all-electric Jeep brand alternative to today’s players.”

The Jeep Avenger will debut during the press day of the Paris Motor Show on October 17, and reservations will open for customers on the same day. The new Jeep Avenger will arrive in dealerships in early 2023.

The Jeep brand continues to expand its 4xe lineup around the world, enhancing its legendary 4×4 capability through the use of electrification and technology. While the current plan details focus on North America and Europe, specific plans for other regions will be announced at a later date.

“Today we’re sharing just a sneak peek at our new all-electric SUV lineup, offering tangible evidence of what’s to come in the next 24 months and why we say the 4xe is the new 4×4,” said Christian Meunier , CEO of the Jeep brand. “This powerful combination of Jeep design, legendary 4×4 capability and electrification will reshape the SUV market, allowing more customers in more countries and in more segments to join us on our journey to Zero Emission Freedom.”
