Be careful, Resident Evil: Code Veronica X arrives on PS4 on May 10

Taking advantage of the 20th anniversary of Resident Evil celebrated last year, Capcom reissued the saga almost in its entirety with notable improvements for current systems with notable absences. Some of us are still waiting for them, as is the case with the remake of ‘Resident Evil 2’, others we can start enjoying in a few days on the Sony desktop.

From the official Resident Evil Twitter account, it has been announced that ‘Resident Evil: Code Veronica X’ will arrive on May 10 at the PS4 digital store under the line of PS2 Classics, which means that we can expect technical improvements from rigor as well as new features such as the inclusion of trophies.

Despite the fact that the third installment of the saga was designed for the first Sony console, the ‘RE: Code Veronica’ can be considered the authentic continuation of the plot, taking advantage of the 128-bit technology of the sixth generation of consoles, expanding the universe of the saga through the investigations of Claire Redfield.

As a matter of interest, especially for achievement hunters like our compi Jarkendia, this version of ‘Resident Evil: Code Veronica X’ not only includes its own set of trophies but also adds one of Platinum that adds extra value to the proposal with respect to the PS3 editions.

Originally developed by the creator of the saga Shinji Mikami, Capcom would soon make the port for PlayStation 2 and GameCube adding more than a letter at the end of the game title: almost 10 more minutes of scenes, an improvement in the technical finish and In general, more explicit material made ‘Resident Evil: Code Veronica X’ the definitive version of the game.

It is not the first time that this game has been reissued for Sony consoles. In September 2011 the game would be adapted to the HD format for PS3 and Xbox 360 and two years later a digital bundle would appear that would include ‘Resident Evil: Code Veronica X’ along with ‘Resident Evil 4’. The version that will arrive in a couple of days on PS4 may not be the most precious , but if we talk about quality it is undoubtedly one of the best games of the entire saga .
