There is nothing left for the launch of Biomutant and THQ Nordic and Experiment 101 have wanted to offer us two new gameplay to see how the game will look if we decide to play it on PS5 and Xbox Series X with backward compatibility. It is important to note that in neither case are native versions treated, since we remember that it will only be available for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Starting with the PlayStation 5 video, at the beginning a message appears warning us that everything we see has been captured directly on the Sony console. However, 4K is not native and has been disabled to improve stability and performance. Instead the image will be viewed as 1080p base at 60 fps rescaled to 4K at 60 fps .
At the beginning we can see our character, which we can modify as we want with a complete editor, equipped with a staff that will allow him to glide briefly while turning it with his hands or use a kind of turbo. But the important thing is the fight against a few enemies that monopolizes most of the video, in which we can see that we will have a good number of ways to crush our adversaries.
For example, we will have special abilities, such as one to summon frozen spikes on the ground, although the person at the controls sees that it is more likely to hit right and left shots , which in turn triggers more powerful combos than what normal after dealing a few hits.
For its part, on Xbox Series X the image is seen in native 4K at 60 fps . The gameplay is practically the same as the previous one, with the difference that in this case it also offers us a brief tour of the stage with a beautiful finish looking great.
Regarding combat, the enemies are exactly the same as before. The only thing that changes is that in this case the video chooses to show us how we will cope if we dedicate ourselves to distributing tow based on punches and kicks , with the ability to summon a pool of poison or launch rays by hand with other special abilities.
As we said before, Biomutant is only confirmed for PS4, Xbox One and PC and it will be on May 25 when it will go on sale in all stores.
