Nvidia has released a couple of new videos dedicated to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War to showcase the next-gen graphical enhancements they are working on, so we can see how impressive the game can look.
For example, in the first of these comparison videos, captured with a GeForce RTX 3090 , he shows us what everything looks like when using ray-tracing technology . Thanks to it, the shadows become more realistic and it also modifies the general lighting of the stage so that players can enjoy a more immersive experience.
For example, in one of the moments of the video, you can see how the branches and leaves of the trees are reflected on the road, while with the ray-tracing deactivated, you only see a huge black shadow without any specific shape. In addition, it incorporates ambient occlusion to offer a greater sense of depth.
For the second of the comparative videos, a GeForce RTX 3080 has been used in which the game appears with DLSS activated and deactivated , in order to demonstrate the difference in the amount of fps while maintaining excellent visual quality. In some moments this technology practically doubles the number of frames per second at which the image moves.
Nvidia has indicated that with this artificial intelligence, the fps at 4K can be increased by up to 85% on GeForce RTX graphics cards. In fact, if this encourages a user to purchase any of these cards, they will receive a free copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
