Cardiff Gay Pride 2016 – Gales Gay Pride 2016 – Pride Cymru 2016

Cardiff, the largest city and capital of Wales, has a population of approximately 350,000 and a pleasant setting on the Bristol Channel. In mid-August, the city hosts Pride Cymru, Cardiff's Pride Celebration formerly known as Cardiff Wales LGBT Mardi Gras. which is a combination of a gay arts and culture festival and a Gay Pride event. The event takes place in mid-August: this year's dates are Friday and Saturday, August 12 and 13, 2016.

Events during Pride Cymru in Cardiff include the party at the Parc music festival on Friday and Saturday, the Pride Cymru Parade from 11 am to 12:30 pm, the 'Main Event' celebration at Cooper Field from noon to 9:30 pm and the Pulse Street party in the evening.
