Citroën has done it again. It has broken with the established by presenting the new C4 X and its 100% electric version ë-C4 X, which present a unique and elegant design approach for customers who are looking for an attractive alternative to affordable compact and compact SUV offers in the market. Following in the footsteps of the also recently presented and elegant Citroën C5 X, the new model dares to challenge the traditional definitions of compact car bodies to offer users something unique: a mix of designs that combines the elegant bodywork of a fastback with the modern attitude of an SUV and the timeless refinement and spaciousness of a 4-door .
“We are excited about the opportunity that the new ë-C4 X and C4 X give us as they will contribute significantly to our goals for brand presence and sales growth in the Middle East and Africa, and international markets, as well as in Europe,” said Vincent Cobée , CEO of Citroën. “Many of our customers have shown an interest in an affordable, responsible and stylish alternative to the vast offering of compact five-doors and high-volume SUVs, and here is the best interpretation of that need: a distinctive, cutting-edge design that mixes all the comfort, technology, safety and value expected from Citroën, but also exceptional roominess and the versatility of a sedan with the benefit of 100% electric propulsion with zero emissions”.
In particular, Citroën dares to only offer the new 100% electric ë-C4 X in many of its European markets where sales of electrified vehicles are already mature. With its 100 kW motor and range of up to 360 km (WLTP), the new ë-C4 X will be the only 100% electric car to offer this combination of sedan design, comfort and roominess in the mainstream compact market. This, combined with its large boot volume of 510 litres , makes it the ideal companion for daily use in cities, for example, for drivers of VTC companies, taxis or company drivers.
