Ashtabula Towne Square Mall, located in Ashtabula, Ohio, an hour’s drive east of Cleveland, features Wal-Mart, JCPenney, and Super K Mart, as well as more than 30 smaller specialty stores. The complex, which opened in 1992, also features a movie theater, food court, and game room.

In transition

Ashtabula Towne Square Mall, while still open, was executed in 2011. There are three empty anchor store locations in the mall and a capacity for 70 smaller stores. The mall was purchased by SureFire LLC, a group of local Ashtabula County investors, in October 2015 and is currently in the process of rebranding and revitalizing the mall. They have made a commitment in the local media to keep the property as a commercial center.
