Information on the number of cases
The case numbers of the RKI may differ from those of the individual federal states. One reason for this is the longer transmission paths between the RKI and the responsible health authorities. The RKI’s Covid-19 dashboard can also be adjusted during the day.
The number of new corona infections in one day in Germany has again clearly exceeded the 100,000 mark. The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) gave the number of new infections in the past 24 hours on Friday morning as 140,160 – more than ever before within one day.
The day before the value was 133,536, a week ago it was 92,223. On Wednesday of this week, the number of new infections in Germany exceeded the 100,000 mark for the first time.
