The trend continues: the corona incidence value continues to rise in Germany. The RKI reports the current number of cases.
Frankfurt / Berlin – The Robert Koch Institute has published the current Corona case numbers for Germany. Accordingly, the increase in the seven-day incidence of new infections with Sars-CoV-2 continues.
As the RKI announced on Saturday morning, citing data from the health authorities, the incidence value increased to 277.4 and thus reached a new high for the sixth day in a row. On Friday (November 12th, 2021) the incidence was 263.7.
The seven-day incidence indicates the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days. On Monday, the value had exceeded the threshold of 200. Since then, new highs have been recorded every day.
