Counting the days to Monster Hunter Rise? This unboxing of its Collector's Edition interests you

The Monster Hunter Rise demos speak for themselves: Capcom’s epic hunting saga returns to Nintendo, and it does so in style . Retaining what was learned in Monster Hunter World and positioning itself as the next must-see for lovers of action RPGs. And if the game looks sensational, its collector’s edition is already a whim.

In addition to the physical and digital versions of Monster Hunter Rise , Capcom and Nintendo will launch a third edition presided over by the Magnamalo Amiibo , the flagship monster of the current installment. A brutal Tusk Wyvern with devastating power and, in this specific case, one of the most spectacular nintendera figures.

Of course, the Magnamalo Amiibo is not the only thing that the Monster Hunter Rise Collector’s Edition contains: in addition to the figure and a physical copy of the game itself – it would be more – we can find other physical and digital incentives for 99.99 euros. For reference, a margin of approximately 30 and 40 euros more than the price of the standard edition of the eShop.

That said, how large and detailed does the Amiibo look like? What do the box and the other items in the Edition look like? How is the game case? Through the Nintendo Minute section, Nintendo itself answers all the above questions and some more.

To start with, the size of the Amiibo is comparable to that of Detective Pikachu or the Guardian of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild, doubling that of any of the great figures in Nintendo’s collections.

For reference, and despite not being to scale, Ken from Street Fighter looks really small compared to the Wyvern that will debut in Monster Hunter Rise . And yes, the figure is presented in its own bundle, to the delight of everyone who has the unopened Amiibo.

It is worth remembering that the Magnamalo Amiibo can also be purchased separately through the Nintendo official website store. In this regard, its price is 24.99 euros plus shipping costs. In other words: if we are interested in the game and the figure, the edition is more profitable.

And what happens if we scan the Magnamalo Amiibo in Monster Hunter Rise ? Starting off, we will get a spectacular special superimposed armor, which you can see just below.

To which we must add that every day that we scan them on the console we will receive a lottery ticket to redeem in the game village.

Quite a whim with a brutal Amiibo

In addition to the Amiibo, and in terms of downloadable content incentives, the Collector’s Edition includes all the extras of the Deluxe Edition, valued at 69.99 euros in the eShop, which are:

  • Hunter Layered Armor Set “Kamurai”
  • The Layered Armor Piece for Comrade Canyne “shuriken necklace”
  • Comrade Layered Armor Piece “Fish Collar”
  • A set of gestures (4 jumps)
  • A set of samurai poses
  • “Kabuki” face paint
  • Hairstyle “Izuchi pigtail”

As for tangible extras, in addition to the game itself and the Amiibo, the Monster Hunter Rise Collector’s Edition adds:

  • A collector’s pin with the Kamura Mark, with a gold finish and motifs inspired by the game itself.
  • A set of ten stickers with the illustrations of the monsters and the comrades of the game following the artistic tone of the game inspired by feudal Japan.
  • Finally, it is worth remembering that all digital incentives are presented on a card with a code to be redeemed.

Last but not least, the game reserves include their own bonuses. A benefit that the most impatient for Monster Hunter Rise will receive and it consists of.

  • A layered armor for Comrade Canyne “golden retriever”
  • A superimposed armor for comrade “forest cat”
  • A beginner’s talisman, which will help players during the first hours of Monster Hunter Rise.

Although it is possible to reserve Monster Hunter Rise for less than the price set in the eShop (at Amazon it can be purchased at the date of this writing for 49.90 euros), the truth is that the margin between the normal edition of the game and the collector’s edition it’s tempting enough to bet on it.

On the other hand, if you are a fan of Monster Hunter – or you loved Monster Hunter World – and the only thing you need is a Nintendo Switch, Monster Hunter Rise will be the perfect excuse to take the leap: Like any great Nintendo launch, there is a thematic edition of the console itself that -by the way- will reach European territory. To which we must also add a matching Pro controller.

All of the above, which is not little, will hit the shelves in a matter of days: the launch of Monster Hunter Rise , as well as the Collector’s Edition and the Mangamalo Amiibo, are scheduled for next Friday, March 26 on Nintendo Switch. and by 2022 there will be a PC version. In any case , sharpen your sword!
