The good thing about playing CS: GO a lot is that you end up knowing the maps by heart. The downside is that if you play too much, the surprises during the games are increasingly limited.
Either because of that or because of a burst of genius, PCGamesN has revealed the existence of a modder named Orel who has created a map called Rogue Inferno , which uses the textures and elements of the usual Inferno scenario for a greater purpose.
Neither more nor less than to generate maps procedurally, to your liking and without limits . You can download the map through this link.
This fantasy allows you to configure all kinds of parameters: symmetric, semi-symmetric or unbalanced map, amount of life, ammunition … the variety of possibilities is really complete. Also, when you’ve found your perfect schematic, you can save the seed for that map for later use.
Although, as Orel points out, it is not the first procedural map that has been seen in CS: GO (the first was Source’s infamous Havana, which opened or closed roads and doors for each round), it is the first to offer such changes significant.
It is perfectly possible to play several rounds in a row and have to continuously get used to the new structure. According to Orel, potentially 30 million maps can be created , different from one another.
