The Arab country seeks to grow in the face of the World Cup that it will host in 2022 with a checkbook and with renowned signings. The last footballer who has been tempted from Qatar with a multimillion-dollar offer has been David Silva, who ends his contract at the end of this season with Manchester City. According to the English newspaper Daily Mirror, the league's leaders, Al-Duhail, already has passed on a proposal to the 34-year-old midfielder. The Arab team already recruited Mario Mandzukic into its ranks last December. The former Atlético de Madrid rejected offers that would have allowed him to continue in Europe to head to Qatar, where he will receive just over 5 million euros per season. A higher amount is the one that would have offered David Silva Valencia and Betis cannot compete The Canary Islands also have on the table the option of returning to the Santander League. Both Valencia, his former team, and Betis want to take advantage of the fact that David Silva ends his contract with Manchester City to get his services at zero cost at the end of this season. However, none of them could match the offer he has received from Qatar. The one that could do so is David Beckham's Inter Miami, who wants David Silva to be their franchise player for next season. Without a doubt, his signing would be a great incentive for the large Hispanic community that resides in the city. Will Silva head to the MLS or will he finally opt for the offer he has received from Qatar?
