A doctor from Bavaria is threatened by opponents of vaccination – with well-known patterns.
Neu-Ulm – Christian Kröner is considered to be an “impfluencer”. The doctor from Neu-Ulm in Bavaria has earned this reputation through numerous educational videos on social networks regarding Corona * vaccinations. However, Kröner does not only receive positive feedback on his contributions. The doctor complains of insults and death threats. Since the end of 2020, the doctor has been the victim of “countless hateful comments online, by mail or over the phone,” said the local police. The criminal police are investigating innumerable cases – and have already achieved initial successes.
Krörner had filed hundreds of criminal charges. Every single case has been examined and “a large number” of authors have now been identified, according to the officials: “These were men and women between the ages of 30 and 71 from all over Germany and neighboring countries.”
Death threats against a doctor: It all starts with a “vaccination slip” that goes viral
Kröner was best known for a “vaccination slip” that went viral on social networks. In a post he explained in an ironic way that a Corona vaccination in no way implants a Bill Gates chip. This notion is considered a conspiracy theory *, which is used, among other things, by the QAnon movement in the USA *. However, it is also widespread in the lateral thinking scene in Germany. “The hate speech wave breaks in on him in an organized manner. That doesn’t happen by chance, ”explains a police spokesman for the Augsburger Allgemeine.
“I get up in the morning to help people and not to fight fights.”
The comparatively small shit storm only unfolded its power when Kröner was a guest at Markus Lanz * on ZDF *. On the talk show, the doctor advocated the corona vaccination of children. Subsequently, the hate comments and insults increased.
Corona vaccinations: General practitioners are threatened
Kröner says he is not an isolated case. There are other colleagues who are under police protection, said Kröner in an interview with Bayerischer Rundfunk. But he doesn’t want to be intimidated, says Kröner.
Kröner’s commitment to corona vaccinations for children probably also contributes to the progress of the vaccination campaign. Data from the Federal Ministry of Health show that now more than a million children between the ages of twelve and 17 have been vaccinated. That corresponds to 22.5% of this age group, explains Health Minister Jens Spahn * recently. (tu) * fr.de is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA
