Does the moon make hair, nails, or crops grow longer?

So far, no scientific evidence supports that our satellite influences the growth of nails, hair or the germination of crops, although a widespread popular belief attributes beneficial effects to the act of planting and harvesting in certain lunar phases. Something similar is thought of nails and hair. Again, nothing proves that there is a relationship between the lunar phases and their growth. It has been found that the Moon has a very slight influence on global climate.

As for the nails , those of the hands constantly grow at the rate of about 3 millimeters per month. Toenails grow only 1 to 1.5 millimeters in that same time. We know that if mechanical pressure is exerted on them, for example when playing an instrument, or if they are brushed or cut, their growth is encouraged. They also grow faster when the temperature is higher , a phenomenon that also affects hair.
