Fortunately, the Renault group has ruled out that path for the future of the Romanian firm, which has improved both in the aesthetic section and in the equipment and dynamism of its portfolio. An example of this is the new Dacia Duster, which will have a limited edition this 2022 under the name Duster Extreme . It will start at 20,000 euros and its equipment will start from what we find today in the top-of-the-range Prestige version.
A few weeks ago we were driving a Dacia Duster powered by its LPG and gasoline bifuel technology. This urban SUV meets the needs of a conventional user, who wants a car to go from point A to point B comfortably and with safe and efficient driving . It is not a model that stands out for its benefits, nor does it pretend to be. Its objective is to conquer the market and, thanks to its successful and modern design, it convinces a large majority. The Dacia Duster Extreme , instead, seeks to scale the next level. We are not talking about a premium variant, since the price does not skyrocket either, but it does have a greater technological highlight.

The Extreme limited version will be available throughout this 2022, with some other distinctive detail that will help us identify it without problems. This edition is based on the top-of-the-range Prestige finish, so that we have the best in terms of equipment and ADAS (Safety Systems and Driving Aids) from Dacia . The Duster Extreme incorporates orange details on its grille, mirrors, roof bars and on the tailgate. The alloy wheels are also specific to this edition, with a lacquered black finish that gives it presence and sophistication. A premium character that is also transferred to the interior with an exclusive fabric/TEP upholstery with stitching in the same orange as the exterior , which is repeated in the contours of the ventilation, the central armrest, the door handles and the ends of the center console.
The unit that they have used for the launch wears the Urban Gray color , very much in keeping with the fashionable shades in today’s automotive industry. In addition, as we are talking about a unit that starts with the Prestige finish, it includes the best in terms of technological equipment. That means having LED daytime running lights, ISOFIX mountings (2) for the rear seats, keyless start, 8-inch center screen compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wirelessly and the aforementioned 17-inch wheels with pneumatic tires. 215/60.
