According to the preliminary result, the 61-year-old received 6.1 percent of the votes, as the independent municipality in the district of Oberhavel reports on the website.
The 54-year-old police officer Wolfgang Geppert (BVB/free voters) received 32.7 percent of the votes, the 32-year-old lawyer and deputy mayor Carolin Schmiel (Bürger für Oberkrämer/BfO) got 25.5 percent. This puts you in the runoff election on February 13.
Gilzer had applied for the post for the FDP. The 61-year-old became known in the 1990s as “letter fairy” in the Sat.1 program “Glücksrad”. In 2015 she was voted jungle queen by viewers on the RTL reality show “I’m a star – get me out of here”.
Mayor Peter Leys (BfürO) is retiring on March 1 after around 14 years in office. The municipality of Oberkrämer is an amalgamation of seven villages with around 12,000 inhabitants. Voter turnout was 49.3 percent. dpa
