In the higher regions of Hesse, the onset of winter early in the morning caused trucks to get stuck, bus delays and accidents on the streets. On Tuesday morning, a truck slipped on a federal road near Bad Schwalbach (Rheingau-Taunus district) and stood across, the police said. Nobody got hurt.
Most accidents were property damage, reports the dpa news agency. In the Lahn-Dill district and in Marburg, the police received several calls early in the morning about slipping buses or trucks. On Twitter, the police in Central Hesse are currently warning of slippery roads and advising against unnecessary journeys.
