Guayaquil – According to the media, at least 58 prisoners were killed in renewed violent clashes in a prison in Ecuador.

In addition, at least ten inmates were injured in the Guayas N1 detention center near the port city of Guayaquil, reported the Ecuadorian newspaper “El Universo”, citing the governor of the Guayas province of the South American country on Saturday. Accordingly, the numbers could still increase.
