The future of the park:
Rumors have emerged in recent years about the possibility of the City of Santa Clara selling the land on which the park is located as part of the ongoing urban development of Santa Clara. Park officials told supporters last week that even if that happened, they would buy the land and keep the park active. For more information, check out this story on Mercury News.
