The popular series “How I Met Your Mother” is finally getting a spin-off. Hilary Duff will play the lead role in How I Met Your Father.
Los Angeles – A spin-off of the popular “How I Met Your Mother” series has already been planned several times. However, it never came about. But that should finally change. Seven years after the show’s season finale began filming “How I Met Your Father” with Hilary Duff (33) in the lead role, extratipp.com * reports.
This is known so far from “How I Met Your Father”
The spin-off will have a lot in common with the original. “How I Met Your Father” will be about a group of friends. They are in the process of planning their future, finding out who they really are and, most importantly, dating. The focus is on a woman named Sophie (Hilary Duff). She will look back on the year 2021 and, just like in “How I Met Your Mother”, tell her son the story of how she met his father.

Details about the new show are still under lock and key. The cast and the beginning of the broadcast are not yet known. It is also unknown whether part of the original cast of “How I Met Your Mother” will be shown. It is possible that Neil Patrick Harris, Cobie Smulders, Jason Segel, Alyson Hannigan, and Josh Radnor will get guest appearances or even take up their old roles again. What is certain, however, is that there is a connection to the original.
Although How I Met Your Father is set in New York, the series is shot in Los Angeles. However, production has not yet started. So it may take a while before we see the first trailer. The first season will have ten episodes.
