The truth is that, although the process is quite simple, you should know that it is only possible to do it through the official website, not being possible at the moment through the official app.
What does it mean to delete our account on Spotify?
Before closing our account it is necessary and essential to know what the repercussions are. In addition, it is necessary to bear in mind another fundamental aspect: it is possible to eliminate the active monthly subscription without closing the account, so we must be clear at all times what we want to do.
Closing the account will not allow us to log in again with our current username , or to use it again. But it is possible to create a new account with the same email address.

Deleting our Spotify account
To delete our account, we must go to the Spotify support page, and click on the Account button. Then, it is necessary to click on the button I want to close my account .
Once this is done, we must click on the blue button labeled Continue . Next, we must continue with each step, until we reach the last Continue button.
Now we must continue with the process until the system sends us a confirmation email.
A confirmation link will appear in this email that we will have to click to permanently close the account.
