Flying is certainly the most practical option if you need to get to Paris as quickly as possible, but if you have a little more time to enjoy yourself, taking the train or renting a car can be an interesting and scenic alternative way to get to Paris.

Flights

International carriers, including Air France and Lufthansa, and low-cost regional companies like Air Berlin offer daily direct flights from Frankfurt to Paris, arriving at Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport or Orly Airport.

Train ride

You can get from Frankfurt to Paris by train in just four hours on direct trains that serve Gare de l’Est station in Paris. Non-direct trains connect in Cologne, Mannheim, Brussels or other cities with TGV or Thalys high-speed trains, with a total travel time of approximately 4.5 to 6 hours.

Car rentals

In light traffic conditions, it can take a little over five hours or more to reach Paris from Frankfurt by car. Expect to pay pretty high toll fees at various points during the trip.
