The company also announced that another 100 Huawei devices – both smartphones and tablets – will be updated to work with HarmonyOS. Cell phones from the HUAWEI Mate 40, Mate 30, P40, Mate X2, nova 8 and MatePad Pro series will be included.

The new tablet that arrives in the Huawei catalog is the MatePad 11 series, with a standard model and a Pro that will be Huawei’s first with the HarmonyOS operating system, replacing the current EMUI layer for Android, which is also used by their ‘smartphones. ‘.

Among the novelties that come with the new operating system, the company has highlighted aspects such as a main screen that improves productivity , and previews of the application content if the icon of an app is held down.

The MatePad 11 standard model features a 10.95-inch slim-edge display design with a 120hZ refresh rate, as well as blue light reduction through TÜV Rheinland certification.

The new tablet will be accompanied by a new ‘premium’ model also with HarmonyOS, MatePad 11 Pro , which will have a 12.6-inch screen, 90% front ratio and symmetrical 5.6mm edges, and without a perforated camera.

Its screen uses an AMOLED panel, with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and a contrast ratio of 1,000,000 to 1, as well as a difference between “professional” colors below 1 percent (0.8).
