Oslo – A cruise ship with almost 400 people on board hit the bottom in Norway at sea. The expedition ship “Fridtjof Nansen” reported grounding near the port of Måløy early on Wednesday morning, the shipping company Hurtigruten said on dpa request. There were 233 guests and 165 crew members on board, nobody was harmed. There is no danger to her or the ship. Måløy is located on the west coast of Norway about 200 kilometers north of Bergen.
However, the incident damaged the propulsion system and the hull of the “Fridtjof Nansen”, according to Hurtigruten. This damage is now checked.
