Idris Elba faces the King of the jungle in "Beast"

The Idris Elba-starring production was recently joined by actors Sharlto Copley, Iyana Halley and Leah Sava Jeffries. Beast began production a few weeks ago in South Africa, in a shoot that will last up to 10 weeks without interruption. In this story, Elba is Dr. Nate Samuels, a man who has recently lost his wife and who travels to the place where he met her, South Africa. To enhance the realism of the film, it will be shot entirely in the rural South African provinces of Limpopo and Northern Cape, in the city of Cape Town. For the preservation of the natural environment, the entire team will work in collaboration with the South African production services company Known Associates Entertainment and the South African Department of Commerce, Industry and Competition. The script is written by Ryan Engle (Project Rampage, Assault in the Night) and will hit theaters on August 19, 2022.For his part, and before facing León, Idris Elba will be a member of The Suicide Squad, the James Gunn film that will be released on August 6.
