Indiana State Fair Signs and Parking Information

Parking at the Indiana State Fair can be confusing. With traffic and congestion, it is sometimes difficult to know where to go and it is best to be prepared in advance. Not sure how to get to the fairgrounds? The following information will help you feel more prepared when it comes to parking at the fair.

Directions to the Indiana State Fairgrounds

I-65 North (from Louisville, KY; Columbus, IN)
Take I-70 East to North Keystone Avenue, exit # 85B. Turn right (north) on Keystone Avenue. Turn left (west) on 38th St. Continue west to the fairground entrance.

I-65 South (from Chicago, IL; Lafayette, IN)
Take I-65 South to 38th Street Exit # 119. Go about 5 miles. east to the entrance to the fairgrounds.

I-70 East (from St. Louis, MO; Terre Haute, IN)
Take I-70 to the North Keystone Avenue exit, # 85B. Turn right (north) on Keystone Avenue. Turn left (west) on 38th St. Continue west to the fairground entrance.

I-70 West (from Columbus, OH; Richmond, IN)
Take I-70 to North Keystone Avenue, exit # 85B. Turn right (north) on Keystone Avenue. Turn left (west) on 38th St. Continue west to the fairgrounds.

I-69 South (from Detroit, MI; Fort Wayne, IN)
I-69 South becomes Binford Boulevard (SR37), which becomes Fall Creek Parkway. The fairgrounds are located just north of 38th Street on Fall Creek Parkway.

I-74 West (from Cincinnati, OH)
Take I-74 to I-465 North. Take I-465 North to I-70 West to Keystone Avenue, Exit # 85B. Take Keystone Avenue north to 38th Street. Turn left (west) on 38th Street.

I-74 East (from Danville, IL)
Take I-74 to I-465 North to the 38th St. Exit. Turn right (east) onto 38th St. Fairgrounds, approximately 7 miles east.

From Indianapolis International Airport
Take the Indianpolis Airport Expressway to I-465 North to the 38th Street Exit. Continue east to the fairground entrance.

Parking information for the Indiana State Fairgrounds

Free State Fair Park & ​​Ride
If you don’t want to deal with the traffic and parking hassles at the Indiana State Fair and don’t plan to take the FairTrain, you may want to consider the free parking and ride option. To take advantage of the free shuttle, park in the Glendale Mall country street lot and go to the fair. The shuttle service runs every 20 minutes from 10 am to 10 pm every day of the fair.

Parking at the fairgrounds Parking
It is available on a first-come, first-served basis within the Indiana State Fairgrounds for $ 5 per vehicle. Enter Gate 1 on 38th Street, Gate 6 on Fall Creek Parkway, or Gate 10 on 42nd Street.
