Three people were injured in a scuffle in front of a residential building in Ulm. Police are investigating whether a machete was involved. And she’s looking for a car with Bavarian license plates.
Ulm (dpa) – After a dispute in front of a residential building in Ulm with three injured people, a car with a Bavarian license plate is searched for. With many forces, the police had previously moved out to the house in Ulm’s Oststadt on Monday evening.
As she reported late in the evening, strangers rang the bell at around 5:45 p.m. on Monday and immediately attacked a resident who opened the door. One of two residents then grabbed a machete to defend himself.
The attackers then fled, but the gunman followed them. A scuffle ensued on the street. Three men were injured. They were taken to clinics. The severity of their injuries will be determined there. A woman visiting the home fled to safety during the attack. “She survived the attack with a shock,” it said.
Manhunt for gray Opel Corsa
According to the information, the machete has been missing since then. It is not yet known whether she was used in the altercation. The police, on the other hand, are looking for a gray Opel Corsa with a Günzburg license plate (GZ). “We assume that those involved fled in a car,” said the police spokesman. The car is being searched for, among other things, with a helicopter. It was initially unclear how many inmates there were.
The crime happened near a bar in the east of Ulm. A bloodstain could still be seen on the sidewalk in front of parked cars on Monday evening. The bar owner reported that police officers had previously walked past his bar, heavily armed.
Multi-storey residential buildings are lined up opposite the bar, behind which lies the city’s old cemetery. Shortly after the incident, the area around the crime scene was cordoned off. But a little later, the police were able to give the all-clear and announced that there was no danger to other people.
