Most of you will know the name of Jerry Bruckheimer because he is a famous American film producer, who has participated in films such as’ Flashdance ‘,’ Armageddon ‘,’ Pearl Harbor ‘,’ Black Hawk Down ‘, the saga’ Pirates of the Caribe ‘, the series’ CSI’, or the next adaptation of ‘Prince of Persia’ to the big screen.
Perhaps as a result of the latter his interest in video games has grown, but relatively recently he has teamed up with MTV to create Jerry Bruckheimer Games Studio . To ensure the studio’s success, Bruckheimer has hired Jim Veevaert, executive producer of ‘Halo 3’, and Jay Cohen, director of multiple developments at Ubisoft.
Bruckheimer believes that video games and television / film are going through a future with much in common. In this way, the company will focus on developing promising new franchises from scratch, instead of adapting brands that we all already know from one place to another or vice versa.
Welcome back, Jerry.
