Memmingen – After killing a 16-year-old in the Allgäu in Bavaria, the two suspects have so far not commented on the murder allegations against them.
The 15-year-old and the 25-year-old man “made use of their right to remain silent” during the interrogations and before the judge, said a spokesman for the Memmingen public prosecutor’s office on Wednesday. The spokesman did not comment on a possible motive, the course of events and the relationship between the two suspects and the victim. The investigations were “in full swing”.
The two suspects are now in custody. They are accused of maliciously murdering the 16-year-old on Sunday on a site near Memmingen Airport. According to the police, the youth died from multiple stitches in the upper body. In connection with the arrest of the 25-year-old from the Unterallgäu district, the investigators found two knives that could be used as weapons.
The girl’s parents reported to the police on Monday morning and said that their daughter had not been available since Sunday evening. A little later the body of the youth was found south of the Memmingen airport. dpa
