First, police officers were alerted by residents in Hundsanger Strasse – they reported a loud argument with the noise of fighting and a man screaming for help. They were also able to describe an alleged suspect.

The suspect was discovered by a patrol and arrested at Hadamar train station. According to the police, it is a 35-year-old. He is said to have resisted for a short time when he was arrested. The victim, a 34-year-old man, was found dead by another patrol in Hadamar’s apartment – lifeless and with visible injuries. An emergency doctor could only determine death.

Criminal Investigation Department took over the investigation. That night, the criminal investigation service carried out an intensive search for evidence in Hadamar. The public prosecutor’s office in Limburg has initiated the procedure for a homicide offense. The suspect 35-year-old is to be brought before a judge.
