Cologne – crowd favorite Massimo Sinató is again this year as a professional dancer on the RTL show “Let’s Dance”. The broadcaster announced this on Friday in Cologne.

“I’ve changed diapers long enough,” said the 41-year-old in an RTL interview. Sinató had a son with his wife Rebecca Mir (30) and therefore paused a season on the show. He has already danced his way to victory twice on “Let’s Dance”: in 2010 with Sophia Thomalla and in 2020 with Lili Paul-Roncalli. He also took first place in a “Professional Challenge” in 2019 together with his colleague Ekaterina Leonova.

According to RTL, Leonova and Isabel Edvardsson will also be back as professionals when the 15th season starts in mid-February. Among the celebrities, the singer Michelle and the actor Hardy Krüger jr. out. The list of candidates also includes Instagrammer Cheyenne Ochsenknecht, actor Timur Ülker (“Gute Zeiten, Schlechte Zeiten”) and actress and presenter Sarah Mangione, as the television station has already announced.

The former athlete Mathias Mester and the young politician Caroline Bosbach should also be there. There are 14 candidates in total.

The introductory show on February 18 (8:15 p.m.), which begins the new season, will decide which dance couples will be formed from celebrities and professionals.

Victoria Swarovski and Daniel Hartwich are again hosting “Let’s Dance”. Joachim Llambi, Motsi Mabuse and Jorge González are still on the jury and will continue to judge the ability and attempts of the stars in 2022.

Rúrik Gíslason, a former professional soccer player from Iceland, won last year. The previous winners of the RTL show classic include celebrities such as Ingolf Lück, Gil Ofarim, Victoria Swarovski, Maite Kelly and Sophia Thomalla. dpa
