The new event that Capcom has dedicated to Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin has left us with a new preview dedicated to the plot of this RPG that will go on sale on Nintendo Switch and PC, in order to better know its different main characters and villains.
Throughout several sequences they show us some of the heroes that will join us or some of the enemies that we will face. The last time it was revealed that a prophecy claimed that Razewing Ratha, the monster that accompanies our protagonist, was capable of awakening a tremendous destructive power that would end everything.
What we now know about it is that rays of light will emerge throughout the world capable of turning all monsters that pass through them into evil. Therefore, our objective will be to find out why this situation is occurring and avoid it to restore order.
In addition to all this, Capcom has provided more information about the gameplay and the transfer of abilities and powers between monsters. The point is that throughout the game we will find random eggs all over the stage that we will be able to hatch in the stables and from which new monsters will emerge that will accompany us.
Thanks to this we will have a mechanic so that monsters inherit abilities from each other . What’s more, the combinations, depending on how they are made, will affect so that the creatures adopt other types, elements and become more powerful than normal by increasing their statistics such as strength or speed.
All this and much more awaits us in Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin when it hits Nintendo Switch and PC on July 9 .
