No end of the changeable weather in sight

Rain, wind, clouds: the weather in Germany remains changeable. The sun can rarely be seen. Will that change in the coming days?

Offenbach (dpa) – The alleged happy month of May is currently more reminiscent of the capricious April – and according to the German Weather Service (DWD), nothing will change that quickly.

The changeable weather will continue in the coming days, according to the DWD meteorologists on Saturday. So on Sunday there is again a change of short sunny phases, longer clouds and short showers and thunderstorms, it was said. The maximum values do not go beyond 13 to 18 degrees. For Monday, too, the experts expect only a few and not long-lasting sunny sections and similarly fresh temperatures.

When it rains, there is often a strong gusty wind, according to the DWD. In the mountains even squalls are possible, especially in the southwest. But wind, clouds and rain also have something good, assured the meteorologist Adrian Leyser: “The danger of night frost remains negligible and the nature, which is sometimes still hungry for water, does not dry out any further.”
