Babies do not come with a manual and we parents realize this when we finally have him at home and hundreds of doubts and questions about our newborn begin to invade us. In most cases, we tend to turn to our own parents or friends with children for advice, but when this is not the case, we have a special ally: Google.
Possibly all of us who have children have used this search engine at some point, but how often? According to a survey, during the baby’s first year, parents make more than 2,000 queries to Google. We share with you which are the doubts that we ‘google’ the most.
the survey
Conducted with the participation of 2,000 American parents with children under the age of two, the survey revealed some interesting facts about what is experienced during the first 12 months of the baby’s life.
For example, parents were found to worry about their babies 2,153 times during that first year , while 62% of participants say they frequently or always discuss how their decisions now would impact their babies’ futures.
Among the results, it was also found that, on average, we spend 1,600 hours holding our baby , because as we know, the arms are a basic need of the newborn, and we spend 77 nights without sleep in the course of that first year.
Past the point of doubt, the survey reveals that we call our parents about 56 times and 67 times the pediatrician or other medical professional to ask them a question about the baby.
As for online searches, according to the survey, parents consult Google more than 2,000 times during the baby’s first year, with an average of six times a day .
