An infinity of hours, combats and a lot of exploration is what the Persona saga offers us. Atlus has created one of the most popular franchises in all of Asia, which enjoys a great reputation in the West.
Now, the Japanese company has shared its financial results at the end of fiscal year 2021, with a deadline of March 31. Among the reports we find an update of the sales data of the deliveries that have contributed the most to the company in this period. Specifically, they are the following:
- Persona 5 Royal (PS4) – 1.8 million copies sold.
- Persona 5 Strikers (PS4, Switch, PC) – 1.5 million copies sold.
- Persona 4 Golden (PC) – 900,000 copies sold.
Atlus itself has pointed out that both in North America, Europe and Asia their projected sales expectations have been exceeded . In addition, they affirm that a large part of the sales come from this foreign market, outside of their main focus.
Most impressive of all, the Persona franchise has already exceeded 15 million units sold worldwide in this way. The number of games published so far exceeds two dozen, including spin-offs and subsequent revisions.
Last year Atlus declared its intention to continue releasing remasters and remakes following the great success of the arrival of Persona 4: Golden on PC.
