Motor enthusiasts, true petrolheads, were frightened by the prospect of Porsche creating SUVs. That Cayenne was the one that saved the brand at the time and years later no one doubts its presence in the German portfolio. The launch of its first electric, the Porsche Taycan, did not leave anyone indifferent and again met expectations . With the 2009 Porsche Panamera, I remember the beat different, passionate and accepted from the beginning. From the beginning they showed the emotion and gratification that characterizes the firm and its sedan body did nothing but make everyone who crossed paths fall in love with it. The current Panamera, which was launched in 2017 , required a few tweaks to remain in command of a segment with renowned rivals. This update affects its three bodies: saloon , long saloon ( Executive ) and family ( Panamera Sport Turismo ) and its starting price is 108,339 euros .
Porsche is in full renovation of its portfolio. Throughout 2021 we will witness the launch of 4 novelties , starting with the star: the Porsche 911 GT3. This high-flying sports car will have more than 500 CV of atmospheric power and will inherit some components of the current 991 GT3 RS and its derivative of the competition (911 RSR). The new Porsche Macan is also expected, to which they have made some aesthetic touches and improvements in the cabin that we will also see in this 2021 Panamera. At the Nürburgring the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS has been seen, a version that will boost its engine up to 500 hp and will add some adjustment to the body to be more aerodynamic. The last, and most curious, is the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo . It is a family variant of the electric one with more habitability inside and we will soon see it.
However, the Porsche that we did get to test a few weeks ago was the new Panamera 4S E-Hybrid . We also had the opportunity to briefly drive the Turbo S and Panamera GTS so, at the risk of looking haughty, the day couldn’t have been more exciting.
