Call of Duty: Warzone continues to expand its content and improve its options with each new update. In this case, as we can read in the notes of the last patch that the game has received, one of the main novelties is the inclusion of private games .
The study has been quick to clarify that, for now, these private games are in beta . On the other hand, the requirements regarding the number of players have also been announced to be able to carry out this type of games. The thing is like this depending on the chosen mode:
- Battle Royale – 50 players are required to start the game. It offers the possibility of playing in squads of different types.
- Loot – In this case, there must be 30 players to start the game. As in Battle Royale mode, different sizes can be selected for the squad.
- Mini Battle Royale – Lastly, Mini Battle Royale mode requires 24 people to play.
In addition to a lot of bug fixes, the other great novelty of this latest update has to do with the amount of space the game eats up on your hard drive . To improve this, on the PC version the high resolution textures of weapons and operators will be downloaded during games instead of being stored on disk. This will only work in cases where users have chosen to view the textures in high resolution in the game options.
This new functionality also allows players to control the daily limit of textures served via streaming as well as adjust the size of the cache used .
In the console version of Warzone there is no possibility that these high resolution textures are downloaded in streaming during the games, but they are in a separate pack that everyone who wants can download and install. Although this texture pack is available for all consoles, the game’s production manager recommends installing it only on PS4 Pro, PS5, Xbox Series X, or Xbox Series S.
