Rats will face off against frogs in Tails of Iron, a hand-drawn RPG set for September release.

During E3 2021, more than a hundred video games paraded. One of those that was seen a bit in passing was Tails of Iron , on which its release date was just confirmed a few moments ago and it will be September 17 when it will arrive on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, Nintendo Switch and PC.

What makes this title so special is that it is an action RPG that draws attention for its hand-drawn graphics . In this 2D adventure we will get to fight numerous battles with great difficulty and that will put our skills to the test, because its creators claim to have been inspired by Dark Souls by having to dodge, counterattack and carry out lethal executions.

All the characters will be animals , like our protagonist, Redgi, the heir to the throne of rats. Unfortunately for him, all the inhabitants of the kingdom have been banished by the ruthless clan of frogs, commanded by their leader Green Wart, so it will be up to us to finish them all to restore peace.

To face all these adversities we will have deadly skills and weapons of all kinds that will be of great help to us to complete missions and secondary objectives. In turn, carrying out these tasks will reward us with money to obtain new pieces of equipment that will affect the statistics and the gameplay itself. Without a doubt they will be details to take into account when facing enemies and especially the different final bosses.

Tails of Iron promises to leave us with a world in which we will travel through six different areas , each with its own paths, secrets and challenges. You just have to see the trailer that accompanies the news to take a look at this curious RPG that we will see in stores in just over two months.
