Surely many of you are already enjoying the company of Lady Dimitrescu, Heisenberg or Mother Miranda . They seem friendly at first, but Resident Evil Village does not invite you to spend a vacation in its town and castle.
Despite everything, the expectation was maximum and this has been reflected by Steam users. If we consult the SteamDB page, which offers data on player attendance on the Valve platform, we see that the eighth installment of the Capcom franchise has broken a record.
Specifically, it has been ranked as the Resident Evil title with the highest number of simultaneous players at any time: 101,726 . A great premiere and the figure may be exceeded during the weekend if people have more time to play.

As you have seen, it has surpassed other recent and successful works for the Japanese company, such as Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 or the previous Ethan Winter adventure, Resident Evil 7.
