Yesterday Capcom surprised us not only with the release date of Resident Evil Village or a new video with gameplay, but also with the publication of a demo for PS5 that some have already been in charge of scrutinizing.
Although the idea of the exclusive for the Sony console does not quite make much sense promoting a machine that right now you will not find in stores, it does help us to see how the game performs on PS5 .
The result, at least with the performance of the demo, is what you have below. A visually spectacular game that gives way to fantastic lighting and a remarkable collection of effects and fanfare that, from time to time, play tricks on it.
The collection of flies that surround its antagonists manages to drop the framerate below 50 fps, but beyond those drops there is little to reproach a demo that moves to native 4K .
Hopefully the test will help Capcom give some more resources to those specific problems and that they will be solved when Resident Evil: Village lands on PC , PS5 and Xbox Series on May 7 .
We will see how the recently announced versions for PS4 and Xbox One behave, because after the stumble of Cyberpunk 2077, all eyes will be on the performance of the versions for the previous generation.
