Glasgow – Eating less meat has given former Hollywood star and California ex-governor Arnold Schwarzenegger more life.
“My cardiologist told me that my arteries have stopped narrowing since I started eating more vegetables and herbal products,” Schwarzenegger said in an interview with the BBC on Friday. “I have improved my health, which gave me two extra years.” The “Terminator” actor has already had heart operations several times.
The 74-year-old actor, who wants to travel to the climate summit in Glasgow next week, criticized political decision-makers who portray climate protection as damaging the economy. “They are liars, they are stupid. Or they don’t know how to proceed – you just have to have the courage to do it, ”said Schwarzenegger. During his time as governor, the Republican announced relatively ambitious climate targets for California.
