On October 5, the Seat Tarraco received the ‘ABC Best Car of the Year 2020’ award, an award given by 35 journalists specializing in motoring, the public and subscribers of the ABC newspaper. Among those journalists is Jose Manuel González, motor specialist for the Zinet group . A position that it will maintain during the next 2021 and that allows it to access, more directly and closely, all the news related to the motoring sector. Mikel Palomera, General Manager of Seat Spain, was in charge of collecting the trophy that accredits the firm’s flagship as the best car for its quality-price ratio, equipment, safety, dynamism and design .
The complete classification has also valued the work of a firm like Citroën and its C5 Aircross, an SUV of the most versatile and fun. The third on the list has been the Audi A1, the compact segment B that falls in love with the young and not so young. The rest of the classifieds are: Toyota Corolla, BMW 1 Series, Volkswagen T-Cross, Mazda 3, Kia Ceed, Renault Clio, Ford Focus, Subaru Forester and DS3 Crossback. For this reason, the respective communication directors of firms such as Audi, Hyundai, the PSA Group, Skoda or Land Rover Iberia, among others, did not miss the appointment.
The ceremony took place at the new headquarters of the newspaper ABC and became a day of joy and reunions for many journalists, always complying with the safety and hygiene measures recommended these days. The award ceremony was made by Raül Blanco, Secretary General for Industry and SMEs .
