The city of Barcelona has once again hosted Primavera Sound , one of the most popular and recognized music festivals on the international scene. The event, which was held from May 27 to June 1, has once again counted for the third consecutive year with the presence of Seat as a strategic partner . In addition to facilitating the mobility of attendees, the brand takes advantage of this agreement to connect with the young and urban spirit of Barcelona and, above all, with the passion for music.
As a result of this collaboration, the festival has had the Seat Village stage , which has joined the main Primavera Sound program with thirteen artists from the national and international hip-hop and trap scene such as Miley Cyrus, Carly Rae Jepsen, James Blake, Interpol or Solange, plus three DJs from three historic international indie bands. The firm will also rename the already traditional ‘created in Barcelona’ stand.
However, the Seat Village Stage also seeks to publicize new names , discovering the present and future of the genre, so Little Simz, Mucho Muchacho, Junglepussy and Kaydy Cain, among others, will be incorporated into the official program of the festival .
Another of the projects that the brand has launched during the Primavera Sound celebration has been the new digital and audiovisual radio platform, which offers music and cultural content via streaming and on demand 24 hours a day, 365 days a year . This station can now be followed through the mobile application available for IOS and, soon, for Android, or the festival’s own website.
Susanne Franz, Seat’s Global Marketing Director, comments that “ Primavera Sound is one of the most important festivals in the world, originating in Barcelona. Participating one more year in the festival confirms our commitment to urban talent and reinforces our bond and commitment to music and the city ”. “With our presence this year at Primavera Sound, we wanted to go to the next level, providing outstanding musical content and helping attendees to move better and have a better experience,” adds Franz.
