The actor and comedian Seth Rogen continues to promote his book Yearbook in which he reviews the funniest things that have happened to him in his life. If a few weeks ago he denied going back to work with his best friend James Franco due to the accusations of a sexual nature that the actor has, it is now that he criticizes the comedians who complain about the culture of cancellation. Rogen seems to surround himself with a politically correct attitude in this series of promotions, thus avoiding any boycott. One of the most irreverent comedians of the past decade is now self-critical of how humor has been used in the past. Rogen appeared on Good Morning Britain where he was asked to rate the films he had made in the past and they had controversial jokes. “There are jokes that surely have not aged well, but I think that is the nature of comedy” said the actor while praising that these films continue to be seen: “I think, conceptually those films are solid and I think there is a which is why they have lasted so long, people see them and enjoy them ”. Moments later he reflected on the intrinsic expiration of humor, “Jokes are not things that are necessarily made to last.” The culture of cancellation has served to punish many media people who had made severe mistakes by abusing their power, although like everything else Caution should be exercised so that the phenomenon does not end up being a “witch hunt”. Seth Rogen criticized in the interview all those comedians who complained about the culture of cancellation:“For me, when I see comedians complaining about this kind of thing, I don’t understand what they are complaining about” and inferred, “If you have made a joke that has aged really badly, accept it and if you don’t think that it has aged terribly badly, Say it. ”Finally, in the interview, he made a self-criticism of his career, but without ceasing to show that no joke was made from the perspective of harming the disadvantaged classes:“ I was never a comedian who made jokes designed for subjugated groups. Have we done them without realizing it? Definitely. Those things are in our movies and they’re out there and they’re things I’m happier to say that haven’t aged well. “
