Update: promotion no longer continues. The Cinderella Castle Suite remains in the center of the Magic Kingdom. Disney occasionally runs contests with partners who give away a suite stay, though these are harder to find lately. A safer bet is to reserve a room like Royal Rooms at Disney’s Port Orleans for your little prince or princess. While the location may not have the same cachet, many of the Castle Suite’s magical touches are found in the bedrooms. And you can sleep a little later if you want.
You can still take a look inside.
The original promotion:
How do you win?
What do you win exactly?
The person (and their family) who wins will undergo some serious VIP treatment, Disney-style. First, they pack a travel bag for the castle.
Once back in the Magic Kingdom, they have a royal photoshoot and are ceremoniously escorted down the main street to the castle. There, the concierge checks them into the suite and gives them a tour. They are given some time to enjoy the suite before being called upon to serve as grand marshals in the “Disney Dreams Come True” parade at the Magic Kingdom.
Later that night, the winners are invited to dinner at Cinderella’s Royal Table, including an audience with Cinderella herself. After dinner, winners enjoy VIP viewing of the SpectroMagic parade and the Wishes fireworks show.
After Magic Kingdom closes, the winning family will have private access to the park for up to two hours. They will have a VIP guide and can participate in modified tours such as “Keys to the Kingdom”.
Upon returning to the castle suite, they will find the room transformed by royal turndown service, including sweets in bed and in-room snacks and drinks. The concierge is downstairs in case you have any special requests.
The wake-up call the next morning is from Cinderella herself. Then come back to reality, or the closest you are to reality when on a Disney World vacation.
What is the castle suite like?
The castle suite, on the fourth floor of Cinderella Castle in the center of the Magic Kingdom, is decorated like a 17th century chamber. Two queen beds and a sofa bed for up to six people.
The “magic” mirrors in the suite (one in the bedroom, one in the living room) double as flat-screen televisions. The suite has a fireplace with fireworks effects and a lounge. The suite bathroom features a garden tub, shower, and special amenities for royalty.

Do you have to be at Disney World to win?
Yes and no. You can mail in an entry and win. Since the prize is for an overnight stay, if selected by mail, you will receive a “prize of comparable value,” which according to the rules is approximately $ 587. NOTE: This contest has ended. Stay tuned for what Disney will do with this gorgeous suite below!
First family:
On January 25, 2007, the Fouch family of DeWitt, Michigan, became the first family to be selected by Disney to spend the night at Cinderella Castle. Sixteen-year-old Brad was in the right place at the right time. In this case, it was row 2, seat 8 in simulator 4 of the Star Tours attraction at the Disney-MGM studios at 10:00 a.m.
What will happen to the suite after the contest?
Disney hasn’t officially announced it, but it appears the suite will never be rented out to high-end guests. Disney officials have mentioned that stays at the castle can be auctioned for charity work, or can be used philanthropically (for example, for families of terminally ill children visiting Disney World). Look for more information on this as the year of a million dreams ends in 2008.
